The villains are on the loose

Take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman and Robin, as you build, drive, swing, and fight your way through Gotham City capturing escaped villains and putting them back in Arkham Asylum where they belong. Battle against legendary villains including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman and more to keep the streets of Gotham clean. Then, for the first time, jump into the story from the other side and play as Batman's foes. Enjoy the power you wield as you spread chaos throughout the city.

LEGO Batman Logo

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic   September 2, 2010

Lego has done it again!

My son has loved this game from day 1. Gameplay is easy to pick up (even for a six year old) and it will keep you occupied for a LONG time. Not that the game drags -- each level moves along at a good clip. The depth is found in the various ways the designers built layers into the game. You play as the "heroes" and as the "villains" in normal story modes, free play modes, and mini-games.

If you're a Batman fan, you'll love this whimsical trip back to Gotham!

5 out of 5 stars Introducing: The Batbrick!   August 31, 2010
Mauricio Zuñiga Rubio (Mexico City)
Following the succes of Star Wars and Indiana Jones, LEGO brings this time the Batman into the world bricks. The story is pretty much centered in the animated series from the 90's,, with the villinas geting themselfs together and break out from Arkham and wreack some havok in Gotham City, and is up to the Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder to put them behind bars again. The gameplay is allmost identical to previous LEGO games, where have you to build different things in order to solve different puzzles, not only that but have to different gadgets and suits for both Batman and Robin if you want to progress through the game. The game not only focuses in the heros, we will have the chance to use the villans in order to progress the story. As with the rest of LEGO games, hummor is at the order of the day, the silent storylines are filled with inside jokes, keeping you laughing and in good mood through the game. The game is not really difficult or a test of skill, this game is just about having a good time. If you liked previus LEGO games or are Batman fan, you won't get dissapointed with this one, and even if you are not a fan it is still a fun and easy to play that anyone can enjoy.

4 out of 5 stars great for all ages   August 19, 2010

This game came with our xbox 360 console. We didn't play it for a long time since it did not interest my husband or I. However, now that my daughter is old enough to play it, we all love it! She is almost 5, and while she could not play by herself, dies and respawns a lot, and needs her partner to do a lot of the work, she loves it! My husband and I enjoy playing with her. Also, the graphics are fun, the characters are cute, and the action is fairly family friendly. Additionally, the 'story' seems to be pretty long. We have not gotten to the end yet, and it would probably go a lot faster for older experienced players.

4 out of 5 stars Fun!   August 17, 2010
Gameboy (Louisiana)
I just purchased this game yesterday and I must say it's pretty fun. This is my first LEGO game and I like it. It makes me want to go out and buy the rest of them. I grew up playing with LEGOs and I really like the old style Batman theme. Well this game has both. I have been eyeing this game for awhile now and am glad I finally made the move. So if you like Batman and LEGOs, then you will more than likely enjoy this game. Great graphics, fun characters to choose from, really good background music, alot of fun.

4 out of 5 stars It's a LEGO game, what can I say?   August 15, 2010

For a LEGO game it isn't too bad. It is not nearly as good as the Indian Jones or Star Wars ones, but I think it makes a good addition to the collection if your kids really like the LEGO games.
